Give Back With CU*SWAG
At CU*SWAG, we feel that it is important to spread the CU*LUV. We hope to share the love with your credit union and your members, but we want to take it one step further. We love that a core value for credit unions is to give back to the community and we think it is our privilege to do the same. Click here to learn how we helped out Haiti.
CU*SWAG will donate 10% of its profits to a charitable organization in the global community. Every three months, we will select a non-profit project to donate to. Just by purchasing CU*SWAG, you are contributing to a worthy cause.
For the next three months, our non-profit focus is the Sponsor Microfinance: Empower Small Businesses in Sierra Leone Project through Develop Africa, Inc.
This project will provide training and financial booster-shots to small businesses, enabling them to start, expand and become self-sufficient. This assistance will help them to break the cycle of poverty. Here is how your order makes a difference:
- $15: Provides training materials/supplies for one participant
- $25: Helps provide business supplies such as calculators, ledgers, pens, etc.
- $50: Will rent a LCD projector used during two day training
- $100: Provides business capital for one small business
